Cousins

Taylor and Shay were able to hang out for a couple of days while I was helping my girlfriend, Amie get ready for a wedding out of town. They had a blast together eating, playing and trying to talk.

Baby Party!

Shay and I attended a baby party this past weekend; 7 moms and 7 babes (ranging from 10 months to 7 weeks!). 2 of the other babies there were very close to Shay's age- one day apart and two days apart (the babies on either side of Shay). The babes in the first photo are lined up according to age. The second photo is Shay and Patrick who have already become good friends. Oh, and my arms also made an appearance.

Cribs and Changing Tables are Fun!

It seems that some of Shay's favorite places to be are her changing table and crib- go figure! We are happy to see her getting her head up with more control, rolling over a ton and sitting by herself. Being 6 months old brings out a lot I guess.

Washington!

We spent the last week of our summer out in Washington visiting college friends. Our trip was very fun and we kept very busy. Kayaking at Puget Sound, seeing a Mariner's game at the outdoor Safeco Stadium, taking a short hike at Tumwater falls, geocaching on Bambridge Island, visiting the famous Fish Market and walking through the Sculpture park were just a few things we did in Washington. We also grilled out, played games like monopoly, sequence and spoons. All in all, a fun time for everyone.
