Shay and Friends

We visited the Burns Family (pictured above) in Duluth to celebrate Shawn's 30th Birthday. Shay and Breck (who are 12 hours apart) were able to hang out quite a bit!

Owen and Shay have seen each other many times, but were able to "play" together recently

Emmit and Shay decided the fruit and cake were the best part of their friend Anna's 1st birthday party

Shay is blessed to have so many fun friends close to her age! We have had a busy summer visiting and hanging out everyone.

Fun at Erickson's

Shay spent the day with Aunt Becky and cousins Olive and Millie last Friday, while dad helped move Great-Grandma. Shay and Olive stayed busy-- drawing, eating, sleeping and pushing each other in (or out) of the big toy car.

Stairs

Going up the stairs is much more fun than going down-- especially when you are 14 months old. Shay has mastered the "up" part, but still thinks she can walk down-- which usually ends up with mom or dad helping or falling.

This past weekend we had 2 family parties- celebrating Millie's baptism and Julie's new adventure. On Saturday we gave farewell wishes to Julie who will be moving to Seattle at the end of the month. Sunday morning Millie was baptized, and then we headed over for a Mother's Day brunch at Becky and Gregg's. All in all, a very fun weekend.
