Going up the stairs is much more fun than going down-- especially when you are 14 months old. Shay has mastered the "up" part, but still thinks she can walk down-- which usually ends up with mom or dad helping or falling.

This past weekend we had 2 family parties- celebrating Millie's baptism and Julie's new adventure. On Saturday we gave farewell wishes to Julie who will be moving to Seattle at the end of the month. Sunday morning Millie was baptized, and then we headed over for a Mother's Day brunch at Becky and Gregg's. All in all, a very fun weekend.

Nice Weather... Finally
Since we have been blessed with such nice weather recently, Shay has been able to go to the park several times both with us and at daycare. She really enjoys the slide and most of the time the swing and teeter-totter. Shay, Bailey and I all love walks, and Brett goes to be nice :)

Chad's Bday Celebration
Our friend Chad had 2 things to celebrate this past weekend-- a new house and a birthday. Brett and I (along with many other friends) headed over to his house the day after he moved in for some grilling out, cake, games and drinks.
