One of Shay's Favorites

Since having a meltdown during the Christmas holiday over cousin Olive's new stroller that Olive got from Grandpa and Grandma, Shay has gotten a stroller of her own (thanks Pappa Bill and Grandma Ginger)!  She loves pushing almost any stuff animal she owns, but last week wanted Brett to push her around.  Here's a few pics of her looking proud with her new stroller!

We have had so much fun with the Burns family over the years, and it continues watching our little ones grow. This weekend was especially cool because Breck and Shay really interacted. On our drive home, all Shay could talk about was "Breck" and his "black" (technically it was navy blue) swimsuit. We are so excited to meet the new Burns family member due in March!

After stuffing ourselves with great food, we headed back to the hotel for a swim. Both Breck and Shay were a bit timid at first, but eventually decided the hotel pool was a lot of fun! Since Elicia and I are both due with babes #2 soon, we decided to pass on the swimming to take up being photographers for the night.

My good friend and roommate from college, Amie celebrated her 30th birthday this weekend in Duluth. We were Amie to join Amie and her husband Peter, along with another one of my old roommates Jen and her husband Phil for dinner at Fitgers. The food, conversation and company were great! Happy Birthday Amie!

In preparation for our new arrival coming in April, we decided to transfer Shay from the crib to a bed. After much hesitation, one night we just made the switch. She fell out of the bed the first night (didn't wake herself or us up though)- hence buying a bedrail the next day. With the rail in place, we haven't had any more falls (yeah) and she stays in bed almost all the time!
