Favorites at Daycare

We think Shay really enjoys going to Tracie's house during the day, but definitely believe she has favorites. She talks about "nim" (aka Tim), "ing" (Ingrid) and "men" (Ben), quite a bit! Apparently, she likes tucking Ingrid into bed for nap time, gives her a kiss and then says "nigh, night". We are not sure if this is cute or not. The pic above is of Shay and Ingrid.

Shay is growing and changing every day, and we have enjoyed watching all the new things she is constantly discovering. So much, we are wondering if we are ready for the newborn stage that will majorly impact our family in 3 months!

We had a fun, small, relaxing New Year celebration at our house to bring in 2010. Playing a very old version of catch phrase and eating a delicious pot luck dinner were 2 of the main events! It was nice to ring in the new year with our friends.

We celebrated Christmas 2 more times over the season, one at my Aunt Marylou's house with the Sturm side of the family and one at our house in Rochester with my mom's extended family. Both celebrations were a blast and we were glad we got to see so many people over the holiday season!
