Happy 2nd Birthday Shay!

Setting up the Crib and Stroller for her baby

We had a great time celebrating Shay's birthday this past weekend.  On Friday, our friends Heidi and Josh stopped by with Shay's 1st bday present- puzzles and Ms. Potato Head.  Sunday we had both sides of the family over, and Shay thought it was pretty cool that all her cousins and grandparents were at her house at the same time!  She loved seeing everyone, playing, opening presents and eating cupcakes.  However, she really did not like when we sang "Happy Birthday"-- pretty much freaked her out.  We had such a great time and had one tired little girl Sunday night!
On Monday, Shay celebrated her birthday again at Daycare by bringing cupcakes for all the kiddos.  She got to wear the Birthday Hat and was super excited to tell us all about it.
Thanks Everyone for the Birthday Wishes!  Also want to send out a "Happy Birthday" to Breck - who turned 2 the same day!

Almost Two

Trying Out Mom's necklace as a headband

Wearing Mom's sunglasses and doing bills

So happy to be wearing Mom's boots

Shay has been changing so much these last couple of weeks.  Her vocabulary is exploding and her sense of humor is expanding, though Brett and I sometimes don't  understand what she is saying or get her jokes!  She has also come up with a statement she says multiple times a day that we are not a fan of "Don't want to!".  Not sure who taught her that, but she sure does use it a lot!  Shay also likes to copy, eat or do anything and everything mom or dad does-- sometimes a blessing, sometimes not.
